A friend recently compared this song to getting a hug. I hope it's like that for you too (if you're into hugs)!

Hallelu was inspired by my partner helping me when I was feeling very unwell.

It's about wanting nothing more than to show up for someone else, make their life easier and if necessary, sacrifice for them. It’s about an urge to get them unstuck and further on the journey they wish to be on… because to see them enjoy their days makes your own feel more worthwhile.

And everyone also at times fall short of being someone’s angel… because we can only be someone’s human. But we can rest in doing our best again and again.

The "jah" of "Hallelujah" was put on hold due to rhythm constraints. It makes plenty of appearances so don't worry!
